Busch Family Brewing and Distilling, LLC

Today is the day! We are excited to partner with Sportsman's Park (9901 Clayton Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63124-1101) to offer the Gussie Bavarian Lager (Munich Helles Style Lager) exclusively and on a regular basis. In fact, starting at lunch today, you can enjoy a pint!

We brewed the Gussie Bavarian Lager with the same approach we took with the Adolphus German Style Pilsner. From the decoction mash to the ingredients selected, we chose to go with quality.

Not only brewing history but a look back to family led us to this beer. It was created in honor of August “Gussie” Busch, Jr., and his release of a beer nearly 70 years ago while at the helm of the brewery here in St. Louis. Much like that brew which, was based on the old beers of Bavaria, we too looked back to classic German beers.

It is our hope that the steps taken on that glass of beer will be apparent. - PROST!!
