Five Mountain Brewing Co

mpany is a small, family-owned brewery located at 22 N Main Street in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. The brewery began with Brent’s passion for homebrewing after he discovered a beer that inspired him to create something similar himself. What started with small extract batches eventually developed into all-grain brewing and custom-built equipment. In 2018, Brent and Melissa decided to turn their brewing passion into a business, opening Five Mountain Brewing Company to the public in October of that year.

Five Mountain Brewing Company creates beers and food inspired by the owners’ personal travels, experiences, and desire to do things differently. Its small-town approach allows the brewery to experiment with different brewing methods and develop a changing selection for visitors. The emphasis on handcrafted beer gives guests an opportunity to enjoy locally produced creations in an intimate setting.

After outgrowing its original location, Five Mountain Brewing Company moved into its current Main Street location, opening there in February 2022. The new space was extensively renovated, including the addition of a back patio, creating a larger and more comfortable destination for the community.

With its family-owned roots, homebrewing beginnings, handcrafted beers, welcoming atmosphere, and strong community support, Five Mountain Brewing Company offers a distinctive craft beer experience in Shickshinny. Whether discovering locally brewed beer or enjoying the relaxed small-town setting, Five Mountain Brewing Company is a worthwhile destination for visitors exploring Pennsylvania’s independent brewery scene.
