Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing

was a craft brewery founded in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with a strong Jersey Shore theme and a creative approach to brewing. The brewery opened in 2014 at the former Flying Fish Brewery location and became known for its playful boardwalk-inspired atmosphere. Its beers often celebrated memorable stories and legends from the Jersey Shore, giving the brewery a distinctive identity within the regional craft beer scene.

The beer lineup at Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing included a variety of traditional and inventive styles. Its flagship Funnel Cake cream ale was brewed with Madagascar vanilla beans and designed to capture the flavor of a classic boardwalk treat. Other notable beers included 1916 Shore Shiver IPA, Morro Castle Smoked Porter, and What the Butler Saw Undressed Wit Beer. The brewery also developed hard seltzers and a non-alcoholic beer, expanding its beverage selection beyond traditional craft beer.

Although Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing closed its Cherry Hill location in February 2024 after losing its lease, the brewery has remained part of New Jersey’s craft brewing history. Its imaginative beers, boardwalk-inspired branding, and memorable taproom helped establish a unique identity among regional breweries. The brewery has indicated hopes of continuing in another form, making its story an interesting part of the area’s evolving craft beer landscape.
