is a family-owned micro-winery located in Napa Valley’s Coombsville appellation, celebrated for its estate-grown wines, multigenerational involvement, and deep commitment to sustainable farming. The Sciandri family traces its roots to Tuscany, bringing Old World values and traditions to their Napa Valley vineyard. Ron and Roberta Sciandri purchased their property in 1989 after searching for a unique place to call home in Napa Valley. What began as a dream property eventually evolved into a vineyard when the family planted its first grapevines in 1999. After initially selling fruit to other wineries and receiving praise for the quality of their grapes, the family decided to produce their own wines, releasing their inaugural vintage, a Cabernet Sauvignon, in 2006.

A defining characteristic of Sciandri Family Vineyards is its small scale and hands-on approach. Situated on a 22-acre property bordering the rolling hills of Coombsville and Skyline Park, the vineyard includes just over four acres of hillside vines. The family produces only a few hundred cases annually, allowing meticulous attention to vineyard management and winemaking. Cabernet Sauvignon remains the flagship wine, complemented by Bordeaux-style blends, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and other limited-production offerings. The winery’s philosophy centers on exceptional fruit quality, minimal intervention, and allowing each vintage to express its unique character. The family motto, “vino con un tocco di familia” (“wine with a touch of family”), reflects their dedication to preserving a personal connection to every bottle.

Beyond its wines, Sciandri Family Vineyards is admired for its warm hospitality and strong family involvement. Multiple generations participate in vineyard operations, winemaking, and customer experiences, ensuring the winery remains true to its roots.
