Barnstormer Winery

offers a welcoming Finger Lakes experience where handcrafted wines, historic surroundings, and thoughtful hospitality come together. Established in 2013, the winery is located on sixteen scenic acres near the western shore of Seneca Lake. Its tasting room occupies a beautifully renovated barn dating back more than 170 years, creating a warm and rustic setting for couples, friends, and travelers exploring the region.

The winery produces approximately 4,000 cases each vintage using grapes from its three-acre estate vineyard and selected vineyards around Seneca Lake. Its portfolio includes dry and off-dry Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Blaufränkisch, rosé, sparkling wine, and limited seasonal selections. Strong relationships with local growers and careful vineyard practices help the winemaking team maintain quality while expressing the cool-climate character of the Finger Lakes.

Visitors can enjoy personalized tasting flights inside the historic barn or relax outdoors while overlooking the estate vineyard. A light tapas menu, the Hangar Bar, and seasonal seating provide additional ways to enjoy the property. Whether discovering a new wine, joining a guided experience, or spending a peaceful afternoon among the vines, Barnstormer Winery delivers a memorable visit centered on craftsmanship, education, and genuine regional hospitality.
