Frontenac Point Vineyard & Estate Winery

Frontenac Point Vineyard & Estate Winery Frontenac Point Vineyard & Estate Winery is a family-owned destination overlooking the scenic western shore of Cayuga Lake. Jim and Carol Doolittle purchased the property in 1978, choosing land with a history of successful fruit farming and panoramic lake views. The estate received New York Farm Winery license number 44 in 1982, establishing it as one of the earlier farm wineries in the region.

The winery produces estate-grown wines that highlight the distinctive climate and soils of the Finger Lakes. Its vineyards include Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Seyval Blanc, Chambourcin, and Maréchal Foch. Along with creating varietal wines, the winemaker thoughtfully blends different grapes to develop balanced flavors, appealing aromas, and unique expressions of each vintage.

Visitors can enjoy guided tastings while learning about grape growing, fermentation, blending, and other winemaking methods. Guests may also explore the vineyard and appreciate beautiful views across Cayuga Lake. The relaxed atmosphere, personal hospitality, and educational experience make the winery welcoming for both experienced enthusiasts and first-time visitors. With its long history, estate-grown selections, and peaceful lakeside setting, Frontenac Point Vineyard & Estate Winery offers an authentic Finger Lakes wine experience.
