Stever Hill Vineyards

offers a welcoming Finger Lakes experience shaped by family farming, generations of grape growing, and scenic views near Keuka Lake. The property began as Clearview Farms in 1951, when the Tones family raised dairy cows and cultivated corn, hay, and a small vineyard. Its agricultural roots continue to influence the character and identity of the winery today.

In 1958, third-generation brothers Harold, Don, and Jim joined the family business and shifted its focus away from dairy farming. As major regional wineries increased production, the family planted additional Concord grapes and expanded the vineyard year after year. Their work helped support the developing Finger Lakes wine industry while building a lasting connection between the farm and local winemaking.

Visitors can enjoy a relaxed tasting experience while learning about the family’s history, agricultural traditions, and long involvement in grape production. The peaceful countryside setting makes the winery an appealing stop for couples, friends, and travelers exploring the Keuka Lake area. Whether discovering locally crafted wines, purchasing bottles to enjoy later, or simply appreciating the rural surroundings, Stever Hill Vineyards provides a memorable destination centered on family dedication, regional heritage, and genuine hospitality.
