Vinizzo

offers a warm, community-focused wine experience shaped by family tradition and a deep passion for winemaking. Founder Michael Izzo grew up in a family where homemade wine was regularly shared at the dinner table. Inspired by his father and grandfather, he began making wine as a hobby before becoming increasingly interested in every stage of the process, from selecting fruit and fermentation to aging and finishing each bottle.

In 2013, Michael and his wife, Kristie Loscalzo, established Vinizzo and opened its tasting room in Sea Cliff. Their goal was to create an approachable destination where guests could enjoy thoughtfully crafted wines in a friendly setting. Visitors can explore different selections, learn about the techniques behind each wine, and receive personal guidance based on their individual tastes.

The intimate atmosphere makes Vinizzo suitable for casual tastings, neighborhood gatherings, and relaxed visits with friends. Its strong connection to the local community remains an important part of the winery’s identity. Whether discovering a new favorite, purchasing a bottle for dinner, or learning more about small-scale winemaking, guests can expect genuine hospitality and a personal experience. Vinizzo continues to reflect the Izzo family’s heritage, dedication, and enthusiasm for sharing good wine.
