Deep Creek Winery

offers a welcoming mountain wine experience shaped by family partnership, small-batch production, and personal hospitality. The winery was created by Robert and Heather Acton after they met in 2014 and discovered a shared enthusiasm for building a family business. Together, they transformed a traditional barn into a working winery near Bryson City, creating a relaxed destination surrounded by the natural beauty of western North Carolina.

Robert brought nearly a decade of winemaking experience to the project, while Heather contributed energy, business knowledge, and a friendly personality. Their small-batch approach allows close attention to every stage of production, helping the wines develop appealing flavors, aromas, and consistent quality. Visitors can explore handcrafted selections created with care and offered at approachable prices.

The intimate setting gives guests an opportunity to learn about the owners’ journey and the work behind each bottle. Whether stopping during a Great Smoky Mountains getaway, searching for a locally made wine, or enjoying a quiet countryside outing, Deep Creek Winery provides a memorable experience centered on family dedication, careful craftsmanship, and genuine mountain hospitality.
