Iron Gate Winery Inc

Iron Gate Winery Iron Gate Winery offers a welcoming farm-based wine experience rooted in North Carolina agriculture, carefully tended vineyards, and relaxed countryside hospitality. Located in the Central Piedmont, the property continues the region’s farming tradition on land once closely associated with small family tobacco farms. Sandy loam soils and attentive vineyard management help produce grapes with distinctive aromas, textures, and flavors.

The winery emphasizes hands-on care throughout the growing season, including harvesting grapes by hand. Visitors can explore locally produced wines while learning how the vineyard’s soil, climate, and farming practices influence each bottle. The approachable setting allows guests to compare different selections, ask questions, and choose wines suited to meals, celebrations, gifts, or casual enjoyment.

Beyond wine tasting, the farm features picnic areas, vineyard tours, wine accessories, handmade baskets, homemade jams and jellies, herb-infused vinegars, decorative wine lamps, and artwork by Kenny Glenn. These offerings add local character and provide several options for memorable purchases. The property can also accommodate corporate functions, club meetings, organizational gatherings, and private events. With its agricultural heritage, handcrafted products, welcoming atmosphere, and versatile spaces, Iron Gate Winery provides an enjoyable destination for visitors exploring North Carolina wine country.
