Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards

is a family-owned estate winery in Oregon’s Umpqua Valley, celebrated for its pioneering spirit, award-winning wines, and breathtaking vineyard landscapes. Founded in 2001 by Stephen and Gloria Reustle, the winery is named after the family’s “Prayer Rock,” a special place overlooking the vineyard where Stephen and his young son shared daily moments of reflection. Today, the estate spans forty acres of meticulously planned hillside vineyards, with every variety carefully matched to the property’s soils and microclimates. Visitors are welcomed to an unforgettable destination featuring a European-inspired wine cave, scenic hiking trails, panoramic observation points, and genuine hospitality that reflects the family’s dedication to exceptional guest experiences.

Guests can enjoy an outstanding portfolio of estate-grown wines featuring Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Malbec, Merlot, Grenache, and other premium varietals. Small-lot production, low yields, and meticulous vineyard management allow every wine to express balance, elegance, and the distinctive character of the estate. Reustle is especially renowned for producing the first commercial Grüner Veltliner in the United States and has earned hundreds of prestigious wine awards.

Beyond its wines, Reustle-Prayer Rock Vineyards offers vineyard excursions, concerts, luxury accommodations, seasonal events, wine club benefits, and spectacular views. Its combination of pioneering innovation, artisan craftsmanship, and memorable hospitality makes every visit an exceptional Oregon wine country experience.
