Tero Estates Winery
is a family-owned Oregon winery that has earned a reputation for producing bold, estate-grown wines from one of the oldest vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley. Founded in 2007 by longtime friends Mike Tembreull and Doug Roskelley, the winery was established after acquiring the historic Windrow Vineyard, originally planted in 1981. Located near Milton-Freewater, the estate combines a rich vineyard legacy with a passion for small-lot winemaking and meticulous vineyard stewardship. Visitors are welcomed to enjoy a relaxed tasting experience where scenic views of the Blue Mountains, personalized hospitality, and the story of this historic vineyard create a memorable destination for wine enthusiasts.
The winery specializes in estate-grown Bordeaux and Italian-inspired varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Nebbiolo, Charbono, and carefully crafted red blends. Every grape is hand-harvested from Windrow Vineyard and crafted using traditional techniques that emphasize balance, structure, and the unique character of the estate. Guided tastings allow guests to explore the winery’s portfolio while learning about its history, vineyard practices, and dedication to producing expressive wines with a true sense of place.
Beyond its wines, TERO Estates Winery offers an inviting destination where visitors can experience the heritage of one of Oregon’s historic vineyards while enjoying warm hospitality and beautiful surroundings.
