Kissing Tree Vineyards Tasting Room

offers a warm and personal wine experience in the small community of Eddy. The winery’s story began when founders Chris and Crystal Grider were high school freshmen. They climbed an ancient hackberry tree near the future winery property and shared their first kiss among its branches, creating the memory that later inspired the Kissing Tree name.

Years after that meaningful moment, the couple transformed their shared passion for wine into a family-operated winery. Their handcrafted wines are produced only a short distance from the shade of the historic tree, giving every visit a connection to the founders’ relationship and the land where their story began. The romantic background creates a distinctive atmosphere that separates Kissing Tree from more conventional tasting destinations.

The tasting room provides a relaxed place for couples, friends, local residents, and travelers to discover available wines while learning about the winery’s history. Its location in Eddy makes it a convenient stop for visitors exploring the Waco and Central Texas region. With handcrafted wines, family ownership, small-town hospitality, and an unforgettable love story, Kissing Tree Vineyards Tasting Room offers a charming destination centered on wine, romance, and lasting memories.
