Kelly Green Brewing Co.

was a nano brewery located in Pitman, New Jersey, and became the first brewery to open in Gloucester County’s modern craft beer era. Founded by friends Justin Fleming and Dave Domanski, the brewery opened in 2016 after years of homebrewing and a shared passion for creating quality beer. The name reflected Fleming’s Irish heritage and his love for Philadelphia sports, while the brewery itself quickly became a popular gathering place in downtown Pitman. Its small taproom and neighborhood atmosphere helped build a loyal local following.

Kelly Green Brewing Co. produced a wide variety of handcrafted beers, including IPAs, stouts, brown ales, wheat beers, and seasonal specialties. Popular selections included Head Movies IPA, Riverwards New England IPA, The Teets Milk Stout, and creative fruit-inspired “jelly beers.” Operating on a small brewing system allowed the brewery to experiment with recipes and maintain a constantly changing lineup for visitors. Beer enthusiasts appreciated the brewery’s balance of hop-forward ales, darker beers, and inventive releases.

Kelly Green Brewing Co. permanently closed in March 2023, ending a seven-year run that left a lasting impact on South Jersey’s craft beer scene. During its operation, the brewery became known for its friendly atmosphere, community events, and dedication to local craft beer culture. Although no longer in business, Kelly Green Brewing Co. remains an important part of New Jersey’s brewing history and is remembered as a pioneer that helped inspire the growth of breweries throughout Gloucester County.
