Meyers Brewing Company

is a nano brewery located at 436 East Girard Avenue in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood. Founded by Mike Meyers, the brewery occupies a renovated 1880s carriage house that preserves original brick walls and exposed ceiling beams while creating a comfortable modern taproom. The brewery’s name pays tribute to the Meyers family dairy business, Meyers Dairies, which operated in nearby Ambler for generations.

Meyers Brewing Company produces a diverse range of beers, including hazy IPAs, pale ales, lagers, pilsners, milk stouts, sours, and other specialty releases. Notable beers include SoFISHticated India Pale Ale, Dairy Milk Stout Ale, Phils Pils, Palmer Pale Ale, and Got Ghosted IPA. The rotating selection allows visitors to explore different styles while enjoying fresh beer brewed on-site.

The taproom offers a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere with indoor seating, outdoor sidewalk tables, and a large glass garage door that opens the space to the surrounding street. Meyers Brewing Company does not operate its own kitchen but regularly features food trucks, while events such as comedy, trivia, bingo, and live music add to the community-focused experience.

With its small-batch brewing approach, historic carriage-house setting, rotating beer selection, and lively neighborhood atmosphere, Meyers Brewing Company offers a distinctive craft beer experience in Philadelphia. Whether sampling a hazy IPA, crisp pilsner, rich milk stout, or seasonal specialty, Meyers Brewing Company provides a welcoming destination for visitors exploring Fishtown and Philadelphia’s independent brewery scene.
