Three Beards Brewing

is an independent craft brewery and brewpub located in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. The brewery began in 2011 as a group of homebrewers with a passion for creative beer and eventually developed into a full-scale brewpub at Spyglass Ridge Winery. Its evolution from homebrewing to commercial production reflects a strong commitment to experimentation, craftsmanship, and bringing distinctive beer to the local community.

Three Beards Brewing is known for producing a wide variety of handcrafted beers across traditional and experimental styles. Its selection has included Berliner Weisse-style sour beers, cream ales, stouts, pumpkin ales, American lagers, IPAs, and other specialty releases. Beers such as Peach Ringz, Cookie Dough Stout, Fart Baby, and Smash-o-lantern demonstrate the brewery's playful approach to brewing and willingness to explore unusual flavors and ingredients.

The brewery's brewpub setting provides visitors with an opportunity to enjoy freshly produced beer in a relaxed atmosphere. Its location at Spyglass Ridge Winery also places it within a larger destination where guests can experience local beverages and enjoy the surrounding property. The combination of creative beers and a welcoming environment makes Three Beards an interesting stop for craft beer enthusiasts exploring the Sunbury area.

Although Three Beards Brewing later announced its closure, its diverse beer portfolio and experimental brewing style remain part of Pennsylvania's recent craft brewing history. The brewery's journey from homebrewing to a 15-barrel brewpub demonstrates the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit found throughout the state's independent brewing community.
