The Brewery Böser Geist Brewing Co., LLC

Böser Geist Brewing Co.

Böser Geist Brewing Co. was an independent craft brewery located at 1250 Simon Boulevard in Easton, Pennsylvania, inside the historic Simon Silk Mill. Founded by Erik Thomasik and Michael Platt, the brewery opened in December 2017 and became part of Easton’s revitalized craft-beverage scene. Its concept focused on creating a warm, unpretentious gathering place while celebrating the history and industrial character of the former mill.

Böser Geist Brewing Co. produced a rotating selection of house-brewed beers covering traditional and contemporary styles. Its portfolio included American IPAs such as Der Klügere, along with lagers, wheat beers, porters, stouts, and seasonal specialties. Releases included Edelweiss, Coconut Porter, Märzen, Great White Buffalo, Wild Eagle, Staved & Confused, and Coffee Crème Brûlée Stout.

The taproom featured one of the Lehigh Valley’s longest bars, measuring approximately 86 feet and built from zinc and reclaimed local cypress barn wood. Guests could enjoy house beers alongside Pennsylvania wines, spirits, and ciders. Brewery tours were also available by request, while the spacious industrial setting hosted community gatherings and other events.
