Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery

Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery offers a varied Finger Lakes tasting experience built around family craftsmanship, local ingredients, and creative beverages. The Martin family began producing honey and fruit wines from a small garage operation in 1999. After quickly outgrowing that space, they opened Montezuma Winery near the northern end of Cayuga Lake in 2001 and expanded into grape winemaking.

The portfolio includes vinifera, native, and hybrid grape wines alongside distinctive fruit and honey selections. Visitors can explore dry, semi-sweet, sweet, sparkling, and dessert-style wines while learning how regional fruit and careful production influence each bottle. The broad collection provides approachable choices for both traditional wine enthusiasts and guests seeking unusual flavors.

Hidden Marsh Distillery was established in 2007 after the family developed an interest in handcrafted spirits and supported changes benefiting small New York distillers. Guests can now sample spirits alongside the winery’s wines at the main tasting location. The comfortable setting encourages visitors to compare beverages, purchase favorites, and enjoy friendly guidance. With its family history, diverse portfolio, local sourcing, and combination of winemaking and distilling, Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery provides a memorable stop for travelers exploring Cayuga Lake.
