Milea Estate Vineyard

offers a scenic Hudson Valley wine experience surrounded by rolling hills, orchards, streams, horse pastures, and working farms. Located approximately eighty miles north of New York City, the property reflects the agricultural character of one of America’s oldest wine-growing regions. Its peaceful countryside setting makes it an appealing destination for visitors seeking handcrafted wine, natural beauty, and relaxed hospitality.

The estate’s modern story began in 1984, when Barry Milea and his father purchased part of the historic Rymph Family Farm. After years of studying the property and experimenting with its potential, Barry Milea, Ed Evans, and Bruce Tripp established the vineyard in 2015. The first harvest produced award-winning wines, encouraging the team to expand the property into a 98-acre estate.

Visitors can discover crisp, balanced, and approachable wines designed to pair naturally with food and shared occasions. Tastings provide an opportunity to learn about the vineyard’s soils, climate, and winemaking philosophy while enjoying views of the surrounding landscape. With its agricultural heritage, thoughtful production, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to cultivating the Hudson Valley countryside, Milea Estate Vineyard provides a memorable destination for couples, friends, and regional wine travelers.
