Dusky Goose Winery

is a boutique estate winery renowned for crafting premium wines that capture the distinctive character of Oregon’s celebrated Dundee Hills. Founded in 2002 by John and Linda Carter, the winery was established with a vision of producing world-class Pinot Noir from exceptional vineyard sites. Over the years, Dusky Goose has remained committed to small-lot production, meticulous vineyard management, and an uncompromising approach to quality. The estate’s vineyards, including Rambouillet, Lillie’s, and Weber, are carefully farmed to highlight the unique influence of volcanic Jory soils and the region’s cool climate. Visitors are welcomed to an elegant tasting room overlooking the vineyards, where warm hospitality and breathtaking scenery create an unforgettable wine country experience.

The winery is best known for its limited-production Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, crafted from estate vineyards and select premium sites within the Willamette Valley. Every vintage is produced with careful attention to detail, allowing each wine to express its vineyard origin with balance, complexity, and elegance. Thoughtful farming practices, gentle cellar techniques, and patient aging preserve the purity of the fruit while creating wines with remarkable depth and aging potential. Guided tastings introduce guests to current releases and library selections while sharing the story behind the winery’s vineyard-focused philosophy.
