Mountain View Vineyard

is a family-owned winery, brewery, and distillery located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Founded by Randy and Linda Rice, the business began after a visit to New York’s Finger Lakes inspired the couple to plant a small number of grapevines on their property. As their vineyard flourished, they expanded into a nearly 100-acre farm with thousands of vines and officially opened the winery in 2009. Over the years, the estate has grown into the Poconos’ only destination that combines a winery, brewery, and distillery, offering guests a unique agritourism experience surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.

The winery produces a wide range of handcrafted wines, from crisp dry whites and bold reds to sweet fruit wines and fortified specialties. Popular selections include Vidal Blanc, Aurore, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, and wines made from 100% real strawberries, peaches, and raspberries. In addition to wine, Mountain View crafts its own beers and distilled spirits, allowing visitors to enjoy tasting flights that showcase the full range of products made on the estate. Sustainable farming practices, composting, and minimal chemical intervention reflect the winery’s commitment to protecting the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains while producing high-quality beverages.

Visitors can relax in the winery’s full-service bistro, covered porch, outdoor patios, or fire pit area while taking in panoramic vineyard views. Guided tastings, vineyard tours, craft cocktails, seasonal events, live entertainment, and family-friendly amenities make the estate a popular destination throughout the year. Whether enjoying handcrafted wines, locally brewed beer, or small-batch spirits, guests experience warm hospitality and a memorable countryside escape that has made Mountain View Vineyard one of Pennsylvania’s premier wine destinations.
