Rowan Asher Winery & Hard Cidery

Rowan Asher Winery & Hard Cidery Rowan Asher Winery & Hard Cidery is a family-owned urban winery located in the heart of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, where handcrafted wines, small-batch hard ciders, and a creative atmosphere come together to offer a unique tasting experience. Founded by Matthew and Misty Stallard, the winery grew from years of home winemaking inspired by family traditions and a shared love of Napa Valley and European wine regions. Named after their two sons, Rowan and Asher, the winery proudly became the first urban winery and hard cidery in the Pocono Mountains. Rather than operating a traditional vineyard, the family carefully sources premium grapes and locally grown apples to craft distinctive wines and ciders entirely on-site. The cozy tasting room features rustic décor, indoor and outdoor seating, and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors throughout the year.

Guests can enjoy an impressive selection of handcrafted red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines alongside gluten-free hard ciders made from Pennsylvania apples. Guided tastings, wine flights, sangrias, and seasonal releases allow visitors to discover a wide variety of flavors while learning about the family's winemaking journey and commitment to quality craftsmanship. The winery also serves artisan pizzas, cheese boards, cocktails, and local beverages that perfectly complement its handcrafted offerings.

Beyond its beverages, Rowan Asher Winery & Hard Cidery hosts live music, themed events, festivals, and community gatherings throughout the year. Whether relaxing with friends or exploring downtown Stroudsburg, visitors can enjoy warm hospitality, creative wines, and an unforgettable Pocono wine experience.
