Nefarious Cellars

is a family-owned boutique winery that has been crafting distinctive Washington wines since 2004. Founded by Dean and Heather Neff, the winery was born from a shared passion for winemaking after years of studying and working in Oregon before returning home to Washington. They established the winery in the Lake Chelan region, where they embraced the area’s growing reputation for premium vineyards and Rhône varietals. Dean focuses on crafting the red wines while Heather specializes in whites and rosés, creating a balanced portfolio that reflects their individual expertise and commitment to quality. Their small-lot approach emphasizes authenticity, elegance, and the unique character of Washington-grown fruit.

Visitors can enjoy handcrafted wines featuring Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Riesling, Viognier, Rosé, and other carefully produced limited releases. Every vintage is made with meticulous attention to detail, allowing vibrant fruit flavors, balanced acidity, and expressive aromas to shine. Although the original tasting room closed in 2024, the winery continues to offer its wines through direct shipping and selected local retailers, ensuring guests can still experience its acclaimed wines.

Beyond its wines, Nefarious Cellars remains dedicated to craftsmanship, thoughtful winemaking, and building lasting relationships with wine enthusiasts. Every bottle reflects the founders’ passion, creativity, and commitment to producing memorable Washington wines with authenticity and lasting character.
