Headley’s Brewing Company

Headley’s Brewing Company is an independent craft brewery founded in 2017 by Jamie Headley and Matt Sembrat in Heidelberg, Pennsylvania. The two founders, both experienced information-technology professionals with a shared passion for beer, turned their homebrewing friendship into a commercial brewery after Matt sampled Jamie’s creations and saw an opportunity to build something together. Jamie serves as brewmaster, bringing more than two decades of brewing experience to the operation.

Headley’s Brewing Company focuses on quality, variety, and creative interpretations of familiar beer styles. Its lineup has included Heidelberg Racetrack Red Ale, Bad Dog Mae IPA, Flash Lightning Speed Porter, Postman Coffee Stout, Blueberry Wheat, Cream Ale, and other rotating releases. The brewery’s beers often feature distinctive stories, local connections, or playful names, while maintaining an approachable character that makes them enjoyable for a wide range of beer drinkers.

Visitors can enjoy Headley’s Brewing Company at its taproom on East Railroad Street in Heidelberg, where current beers are available on draft along with growler fills, four-packs, and kegs to go. The taproom also offers selections beyond beer, including local wines and ciders. With its founder-driven brewing philosophy, varied beer selection, community-focused atmosphere, and connection to the Pittsburgh-area craft beer scene, Headley’s Brewing Company provides a relaxed destination for discovering locally made beer.
