Six Mile Creek Vineyard

offers a welcoming Finger Lakes experience where longstanding winemaking traditions, varied beverages, and friendly hospitality come together. Established in 1987 by Roger and Nancy Battistella, the winery became Ithaca’s first vineyard and tasting room and one of the oldest members of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. Its convenient location and relaxed atmosphere make it an enjoyable stop for couples, friends, and travelers exploring the region.

The winery began by producing only 250 gallons of wine during its first year. Over time, production expanded to more than 10,000 gallons, reflecting the vineyard’s steady growth and popularity. Its collection now includes traditional wines alongside grape-based spirits and liqueurs, giving visitors several distinctive options to explore during their tasting experience.

Since 2015, owners Mark and Amy Renodin have continued developing the product line while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Knowledgeable staff members create an experience that is informative, professional, and enjoyable without feeling overly formal. Whether sampling different wines, discovering a specialty spirit, or spending time with friends, Six Mile Creek Vineyard provides a memorable destination shaped by local history, craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality.
