Hogue Cellars

is one of Washington’s pioneering wineries, founded in 1982 by brothers Mike and Gary Hogue with a vision of showcasing the remarkable potential of Columbia Valley vineyards. Built on the family’s long agricultural heritage in the Yakima Valley, the winery quickly gained national recognition through its commitment to quality, innovation, and carefully sourced Washington fruit. From its early beginnings in a modest Prosser facility, Hogue Cellars grew into one of the state’s most respected wine producers while maintaining a focus on expressive, approachable wines that reflect the region’s unique climate and terroir. Its legacy continues to influence Washington’s thriving wine industry today.

Visitors can enjoy a diverse portfolio featuring Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and other popular varietals crafted to highlight vibrant fruit flavors and balanced structure. Guided tastings introduce guests to the winery’s history, vineyard philosophy, and traditional winemaking techniques while offering an inviting experience for both longtime wine enthusiasts and newcomers discovering Washington wines for the first time.

Beyond its wines, Hogue Cellars celebrates family heritage, sustainable vineyard partnerships, and welcoming hospitality through memorable tasting experiences. Every visit reflects a lasting commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and producing distinctive Washington wines that continue to represent the excellence and character of the Columbia Valley.
